Our Perfect Thanksgiving

After Thanksgiving 2011 I was very nervous going into Thanksgiving 2012 but my prayers were answered and we had a wonderful HEALTHY week in Utah!!  Nobody even had the sniffles and Tyler's eczema held up really well due to awesome Utah weather.  We didn't dry out like we normally do.  The sun was shining every day and we tried to get out in it as much as we could.  One of the pictures I regret not getting was the game of soccer we had with most of the adults.  We played with a big bouncy ball which is definitely my kind of soccer!  Here are a few more things that we did. . .

"Hanging Out" with cousins at the Park.  I know it looks like these are summer pics but no, it was really warm enough in November to be outside playing in Utah even without jackets at times!

My Amazing Race Team.  My parents set up an Amazing Race for us at a new massive sporting goods store called Scheel's in Salt Lake.  It was really fun and gave us quite the workout going from one end of the store to the other bowling, shooting, dancing, singing, riding the ferris wheel, etc.  It's a good thing we fueled up on burgers and fries before the race!

Our Thanksgiving morning walk/ Turkey Trot.  The kids made feather headbands to wear but they didn't make it out of the car.

Coloring Contest.  A Winner was never declared but they were all pretty good!

Nicole is happy in the car as long as she has her own music source.

This boy is one AMAZING traveler.  Not a complaint from him the whole way!!

She looks hard core but really all three kids were great travelers and wouldn't even let us stop at all unless we had to fill up the car with gas!

Cute cousins!  It's a bummer we didn't get a pic of the three boys.  Next time we get together we'll have four boys!! (due to my sister having a baby in Feb)

My mom hosted the Lyman Family Christmas party while we were there and it was so much fun to see everyone!  Santa even came and brought all the kids a present.  This is what my family did every year growing up so I was happy that my kids could be there this year.
