Our friend Michelle Weinberger took some family pictures of us a few days ago so we thought we would post some of them. The leaves were beautiful and the rain held out for us too. We had about as good a time as you can have getting family pictures! Thanks Michelle! If you want to see more of Michelle's pics, check out Michelle's blog at rubyredphotos.blogspot.com
This was our attempt at getting a shot of Tyler on his own. He's sitting on a picnic table and I'm in a very back breaking position behind him holding him up :) It's okay though since my back is pretty consistently sore from carrying this chubby guy around! Isn't he cute though?

October
I was trying to watch Heidi's last soccer game from the car yesterday but didn't end up seeing much of it. First I had to rescue Scott and Nicole when they walked home from Nicole's soccer game and were locked out. After I got back and got settled again to watch, this guy had a major blow-out!! I wasn't prepared with extra clothes so had to take him home again. Here he is in all his chubbiness happy as can be :)
Some years we get papa murphy's jack-o-latern pizzas but this year I did it myself and I actually thought it looked better than theirs if I do say so myself.
We also took a trip to Great Wolf Lodge with some friends. This is the one picture I took there of my poor little innocent baby before I unknowingly walked in the danger zone for the 48 foot bucket of water that dumps every time it gets full. We were looking for a bathroom and in the wrong place at the wrong time. I felt so bad!! Luckily we were on the outskirts of where the water hits. Other than that, it was a really fun trip. The girls had so much fun. I didn't take the pics below but wanted to show a couple of what it was like there.

Halloween 2010
We have had a fun Halloween this year. Last night we had our ward party (trunk or treat), and tonight the girls are out at it again. I'm sure there will be plenty of candy to last us for a while. Here they are in all their glory (in no particular order).

Our BIG little Brother
Yes, Tyler is still sleeping a lot but not usually on his boppy like this anymore. As you can see, he is growing out of it but still doesn't really like napping in his crib. His favorite spot is still in somebody's arms.
This is our mommy/son time when both the girls are at school in the morning. He loves his bath.
Tyler and his girlfriend. She's 2 months older but he's trying his hardest to catch up to her size wise.
Nicole was about to step onto the wood floor today to take Tyler in to watch Heidi practice the piano. She looked at me about here and said "I can't go on the wood floor with him". I agreed with her and then she said "but if I was outside on the sidewalk and a mean man got Tyler and threw him way up in the air and I caught him, that would be okay." I agreed with her again. What a mind :)
Here's the girls with Tyler last Saturday. Heidi scored a goal that day and her team is undefeated!! Nicole's team has improved a ton but they played a boys team last Saturday and that was a little tough. I think they only play a boys team once during their Kindergarten season.
Like this! Scott enjoys having him here too, especially when there's a football game on.
He's also learning new tricks like cooing and talking to us.

Here's another new trick he's learned, grabbing objects!
Nicole came home and saw these soft balls and was naming each of them "basketball, soccer ball, and baseball..... but they're not real" she said, "they're just stuffed animals"Tyler and his girlfriend. She's 2 months older but he's trying his hardest to catch up to her size wise.

He also gives us plenty of smiles these days which is really fun for everyone.

September
First day of school for Heidi and Nicole.
I can't believe we have two in school!
My little kindergartner :) She gets on the bus just before 8:00 and off at just after 11:00 am. Not very long but I couldn't stand it if she was gone the whole school day!
My growing up third grader. She gets a lot of comments from the neighbors on her fashion sense. I'm not sure where she gets that from. Both Scott and I lack a little in that area!
Off to the bus stop. It looks quiet but in a matter of minutes there were eight other neighbor kids out on the corner with them waiting for the bus which was 30 minutes late the first day!!
The earliest birthday party ever!! We had Scott's company picnic on Heidi's birthday which she was not happy about so this was the only time we could squeeze in a family celebration on her actual birthday. We had breakfast cake and orange juice in wine glasses at 6:00 am before Scott left for the day! It felt like Christmas morning but Heidi was the only one who opened presents :)
Oreo Cupcakes for Heidi's birthday party with friends the day after her b-day.
Nicole is there behind the green balloon.
They played red rover for an amazing portion of the party. I was so glad the weather was nice!
Tyler watched the present opening outside and most of the red rover very contently. But even he got bored after about thirty minutes of that.
Heidi got these pajamas from her friend Brooklyn so they matched. Because Brooklyn lives an hour away, she was the only guest that got to sleep over. They had a wonderful time being twins. The hats were made by Grandma Williams and sent to Heidi for her birthday.

August Updates
August was a great month. One of the highlights was Tyler being blessed. It was great to have so many family and friends there. Somehow, we didn't get any pictures of Tyler in his cute Sunday clothes, but we did get pictures of him with his grandmas (thanks Michelle for the pics!).
We sent the girls to Utah for a week. They had a great time riding four-wheelers, going to Lagoon, and a whole bunch of other places. I don't think they missed mom and dad too much.
They did miss Tyler though. The girls are so good to him and love to hold him and play with him.
With school starting in September, of course we had to get the girls some new clothes. I can't believe Nicole will be going to school this year! Here they are showing off a new outfit.
The last weekend in August we went down to the coast with some of our friends. We had a great time and lucked out with some awesome weather while we were there. We spent all day at the beach and also got a workout holding Tyler. He loves to be held!
The kids were searching for little crabs in the tide pools and we found a spot in the shade for Tyler to rest. Here he is wrapped up in Scott's jacket.
One of our friends with us had some crab traps, so we had to try them out. We brought home 3 crabs to eat...this one was huge (the picture doesn't do it justice). He tasted good, too. The kids had a fun time helping pull the traps in and catching several crabs.
There was a hot tub on the deck, so of course we had to try it out. It as nice and hot and the kids enjoyed a little soak. The adults did also after the kids went to bed :)
Nicole managed to get buried in the sand and looks like a mermaid here.
This is a picture Scott took from the back deck while the sun was going down. What a beautiful day!
Now it is time for school to start and for us to get back to real life I guess.
