Look at me go! Getting these pics on Halloween Night! The pics below tell the story of Halloween at our house. Cleopatra and the fairy went off with their neighbor friends, I took Cowboy Small to a few houses and Scott stayed home to pass out candy. The girls got tons of candy and we have tons of what we were passing out left too! Not sure what we're going to do with it all but hopefully not eat it too fast! I think Tyler liked Trick-or-Treating but of course his expression never really changed from how he looks here. He was pretty happy when we came home and started eating the goods!

San Juan Islands
Scott and I just spent a few days on the San Juan Islands just off of Washington State. My sister and her husband ended up joining us at the last minute and it was a really fun time! Here are some pics of our trip. . .
We stayed at the Marriott in Burlington but this bed and breakfast is where Kelly and I wanted to pretend that we stayed :)
While we were away our kids were in the safe hands of Grandma Williams. They had such a good time making all kinds of projects with yarn and other supplies provided by Grandma. Tyler was even saying "Nana" by the time we got back. I took these right as she was leaving. That's why the background isn't so pretty.
Our first exciting wildlife find. Very cute! What we really wanted to see were Orcas but we're still not sure if we saw them or not. It's possible that we did from a distance.
We also visited Colin's relatives on one of the smaller islands and tracked down his Great Grandpa's headstone. That was pretty fun.
Another beautiful view. It was so peaceful there, especially being there during the off season. We saw a bald eagle sitting right in the middle of this field but scared it away when we turned around to get a pic.

Scott had fun using the panoramic view on my phone's camera.
This is how laid back they are on the Islands. How often do you see this amount of park time?

Enjoying hot chocolate on our fancy cruise ship, aka Ferry
I am usually not a fan of scenic pics without people but I am quite proud of this one :)

Kelly and Colin actually celebrated their sixth anniversary while we were there.
