This and That

Haven't posted much lately because it just seems like nothing big has happened but here's a little bit of what's been going on at the Williams' house....

Tyler had a game of pushing the ball under the chair and then doing his version of a head stand to look for it.  Nicole and I were laughing pretty hard at him so I snapped a few pics.

 He found it!

My mom made these very cute CTR letters for the kids' rooms and sent them a few weeks ago.  Thank you mom!  It's nice to have people they love so much encouraging them to choose the right :)

Nicole lost another tooth, number seven I believe.  She washed it very well and shined it up with a toothbrush for the tooth fairy.  She was very excited.  She just started playing softball and I loved seeing her smile with her helmet and glove on.  It looked like a ball knocked her tooth out.

We hiked to punch bowl falls over the weekend.  We were thrilled to have nice weather and also that Scott didn't have to spend a big chunk of his Saturday working.  It was so nice to be outdoors!!

It was a little more than 2 miles into the falls and then we stopped for a snack.

Tyler spent about 10 minutes out of the backpack during which he ate his pretzels and raisins and fell forward on a slight incline and hit his head on a rock.  I'm sure it's only the beginning of the bumps, bruises, and scratches he has ahead this summer.

This is the scary part that Nicole said wasn't scary.  She also said she doesn't like hikes but she liked "this" hike.  She was quite impressed with the small river we had to cross.  We were trying to figure out our strategy when a really big guy came across on his way back and asked the girls if they wanted a lift.  He carried them both over so that was kind of fun.

Tyler did not make a sound of complaint the entire time.  We were hiking for a total of about two and a half hours.  He did fall asleep at the very end though.  What a good sport he is.

The girls were happy at the end with the promise of no meat or onion spaghetti and mudslide ice cream ahead of them.

Now we go back a little bit to St. Patty's day.  This is about as festive as I get, green applesauce on our pancakes :)

Oh and then we had a snow day on March 22.  Very weird, three inches of snow out of nowhere.  It wasn't actually a snow day but the busses came two hours late so it was a "snow morning".

Tyler really liked the snow but I didn't have any boots for him so we didn't stay out in it too long.  It was pretty much gone by the time the girls got home from school and I'm hoping we don't see any more snow until next winter!!
