1. Eggnog or Hot Chocolate? Hot Chocolate for sure. I tried eggnog on a dare with my cousin when we were young and we thought it was disgusting. I'm sure my taste buds have changed since then but I'll just stick to hot chocolate.
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Both
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? White on the house, colored on the tree.
4. Do you hang mistletoe? No
5. When do you start decorating? Usually the weekend after Thanksgiving or the Monday night after if we've been out of town.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? Sweet Potatoes
7. Favorite holiday memory as a child? Decorating sugar cookies and delivering them, gathering together in the wee hours of the morning to wait until the time we could wake up mom and dad, and the Nielson Family Christmas Party.
8. What is on your Christmas wish list? Absolutely dry weather for our drive to and from Utah!
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? No. We did growing up but Scott's family didn't. He won that one :)
10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? With a bunch of home made ornaments by the kids, Scott's mom and his grandma, and decos that we collect on vacations. It's very eclectic but I love it.
11. Snow, love it or dread it? I love looking at it, but not from the car when we're driving to Utah!

13. Do you remember your favorite gift? As a child, a doll with a bunch of doll clothes that my mom spent hours making. As an adult, an empty water bottle that Heidi made into Mary all on her own and wrapped it up for Scott and I.
14. What's the most important thing about Christmas for you? Trying not to be stressed and remember what's most important and teaching my children to try to focus on Christ.
15. What is your favorite holiday dessert? Either apple Crisp or anything with chocolate & mint
16. What is your favorite tradition? Making and decorating cookies to deliver, still.

18. Do you prefer giving or receiving? Growing up it might have been more receiving but since having kids, definitely giving! I get so excited about their gifts that I forget I'm even getting anything. And, I'm not good at choosing gifts except for when it comes to my kids. I feel like I do a pretty good job with them.0
19. What is your favorite Christmas song? Oh Holy Night, The First Noel, and All I Want for Christmas is You by Michael Buble,
20. Candy canes, yuck or yum? Yuck. Maybe a small piece of a mint one after dinner is okay but eating a whole candy cane . . . never!
21. Favorite Christmas movie? While you Were Sleeping. We watch it every year. AND Mr. Kruger's Christmas. It makes me cry every single time. Both of these movies do.
22. What do you leave for Santa? Cookies
23. Do you have a Christmas morning tradition? Eating the cereal Santa brings. It depends on where we are.
24. Do you prefer to shop online or at the mall? Neither. I actually despise shopping online and going to mall. I would choose Target and Costco to do all my shopping.
25. Christmas letter or Christmas card? We do one or both every year. I love getting them from everyone!
